Group Guitar Lessons for Children Part 2

Service Description

When: Tuesdays 4:00-4:45 8 Week Cycle (April 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th ) (May 7th, 14th, & 21st, 28th ) or Thursdays 4:00-4:45 8 Week Cycle (April11th, 18th, & 25th) (May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th ) Group lessons are offered in an encouraging and supportive environment through a 4-part learning series, each series lasting for an 8 week cycle. Students meet once per week for a 45 minutes class. Students are offered with preference of day for their age group. This 8-week class cycle is Part 2 of 4. A continuation of Group Guitar Lessons Part 1, students will learn Major 7th chords, how to play 3 new songs, and will continue to gain ground strengthening their guitar skills and increasing their confidence, learning to play with different rhythms, sight reading, playing chords from memory, and playing and singing at the same time. Students will begin playing in dyads and triads as part of an ensemble. Supplies to bring each week: guitar, notebook, pencil with eraser, folder for handouts, guitar pics
